Wednesday, Dec. 11

8:50 a.m. An officer was dispatched to serve an active warrant to a man at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

12:35 p.m. An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of South Ash Street to take a report about a stolen firearm from the owner. The information was entered into a stolen property database.

4:55 p.m. An officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of South Broadway to take a report of a deer-vehicle collision.

Thursday, Dec. 12

8:17 a.m. An officer was dispatched to McDonald’s, 1322 E. Main St., and took a report about a minor traffic accident in the parking lot.

1:21 p.m. An officer was dispatched to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve an active warrant to a male inmate.

3:03 p.m. An officer was dispatched to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to serve an active warrant to a man. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

4:54 p.m. An officer was dispatched to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., about a reported trespasser. A man was issued a summons for trespassing.

7:10 p.m. An officer served an active warrant to a male inmate at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, Dec. 13

4:48 p.m. An officer was patrolling in City Market when he saw a man he recognized as having an active warrant. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Saturday, Dec. 14

12:30 p.m. An officer was dispatched to the Rust Trailer Park, 621 N. Elm St., about a report of break-in at a trailer. The officer is requesting the district attorney charge a man involved in the incident with criminal mischief for breaking a door frame in a confrontation at a trailer. The man was also arrested on an outstanding warrant and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

3:59 p.m. An officer was dispatched to the Hampton Inn, 2244 Hawkins St., to issue an active warrant to a man. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Sunday, Dec. 15

12:21 a.m. An officer was dispatched to Speedway, 921 E. Main St. about a man passed out in the sidewalk. The man was arrested on an active warrant out of Denver and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

5:36 a.m. An officer was dispatched to Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, to serve an active warrant to a man. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

9:21 p.m. An officer was dispatched to Walmart about a report of shoplifting. An employee of the store said two men took several items, each of which cost less than a dollar in value, and placed the price stickers on items such as a 20-volt power drill, several toys and a comforter set. The men left the store before they could be stopped, and the officer was working with store employees to identify the suspects.

9:40: p.m. An officer was dispatched to the Mesa Verde Inn, 640 S. Broadway, about a report of a disturbance. The man was arrested for violating bond conditions and was left in the custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

11 a.m. An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of East Third Street about a woman sitting on the ground near a dumpster. The woman appeared to be intoxicated. She was arrested for violating a protection order banning the consumption of alcohol. She was left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention. Center.

9:30 p.m. An officer was called to the 200 block of South Pine Street about a report of many people fighting. According to a witness, a fight broke out between two women and later another fight broke out between two men. A fence was damaged during the fight. An officer witnessed a blue Ford Ranger believed to be a vehicle carrying one of the woman involved in the fight. The woman was arrested for violating a protection order banning the consumption of alcohol and for driving while intoxicated. She was issued a breath analysis test at the Montezuma County Detention Center that showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.210. She was left in custody of the jail.

11:05 p.m. An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of North Park Street about a man lying in the road. The man appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested for violating conditions of a bond prohibiting the consumption of alcohol. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
