I am writing this in support of current school board member Bob Waggoner who is an excellent asset to the Re-1 school board for several reasons. I had the opportunity to work with Waggoner as a committee member during the MCHS bond campaign last fall and was very impressed with his thoughtful questions and sustained level of participation. He was extremely willing to sit down with community members and listen with an open mind to their concerns and explain details about the project. Waggoner has continued to exhibit an open and curious demeanor during his tenure as a board member by asking excellent questions and working to truly understand the needs of our students and faculty. I appreciate that he has not come in with a particular goal except that of what is best for our school district. Waggoner has shown himself to be a highly valuable asset to our community and I believe he should be elected so that he can continue to serve as the Montezuma-Cortez School Board representative for District C.
