The Cortez Elks Lodge is currently seeking donations of stuffed animals that will be given to children at the Halloween Carnival this year. Southwest Intertribal Voice is building a hogan, sweat lodge, and cooking arbor on Native American ceremonial grounds under the direction of Art Neskahi. Muscle power is needed to help with construction. Medicine Horse Center invites the public to a benefit for the scholarship fund for Medicine Horse equine-assisted therapy center.
