FARMINGTON – Ever wonder which would come out on top, a swing set or a deer?
The Farmington Police Department and the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish successfully untangled a swing from a deer’s antlers.
One unlucky buck found out Wednesday when he became tangled with a plastic swing and metal chain in Farmington’s Berg Park. The animal was found dragging part of the green swing around town.
The Farmington Police Department and the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish conducted a joint operation to free the buck. After tranquilizing the animal, officers were able to untangle the swings from his antlers, according to police.
“He is up now and doing well,” FPD wrote in a Facebook post.
