On Aug. 22 I entered Southwest Memorial Hospital for a complete knee replacement. I couldn’t have been treated better, compared with other hospitals we have the best.
I have heard negative things about our medical care here in Cortez, but my visit was one of the best. I think we need to keep our economy here and not support Durango or Albuquerque so much.
Dr. Baggie and the nursing staff at our Southwest Memorial Hospital is tops. I was walking 1½ hours after recovery and after six weeks I have full movement of my leg and can climb stairs without using my other leg always in the lead.
This is my second knee replacement; the first one was in Albuquerque. I received better care right here in Cortez.
