The Piñon Project will sponsor the Christmas for Kids project and is seeking support from the community.
Last year’s project served 636 children from infant to 18. A total of 157 community members sponsored 403 children and youth.
The Piñon Project sponsored 93 families and 233 children and youth, who were able to shop in the agency’s North Pole Workshop through donations of toys, clothing, gift cards and money from community partners.
Community members and businesses are invited to sponsor a family, donate new toys, shoes, clothing, or winter gear. Volunteers also can help gift wrap. Businesses may also serve as a gift collection point.
