County puts fairgrounds, zoning requests on agenda

Montezuma County commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. Monday, March 14, at 109 W. Main St., Room 306, in Cortez.

At 10:15 a.m., Judy Lichliter will discuss American Disability Act requirements at the fairgrounds and courthouse. At 10:30 a.m., commissioners will consider an abatement for Alpine Bank. At 11:15 a.m., Rob Yates will address the board regarding a catwalk request for the Ute Mountain Roundup. At 11:30 a.m., Diana Buza will meet with the board for signatures for a grant for the Pinon Project.

At 1:30 p.m., commissioners will hold a public hearing for an AR3-9 zoning request and presketch plan for a proposed single lot development consisting of three acres from a tract of land owned by Frederick and Berta Schaak located at 14475 County Road CC, Pleasant View.

At 2 p.m., commissioners will continued a public hearing regarding an AR3-9 zoning request on property owned by Martin and Linda Moore located at 29291 County Road P.5, Dolores; and an AR10-34 zoning request on property owned by the Moores located at 29293 County Road P.5, Dolores.

At 2:15 p.m., commissioners will hold a public hearing for an AR3-9 zoning request for a tract of land located at 16678 County Road 22, Cortez and an A80+ zoning request on property located at 16930 County Road 22, Cortez. Properties are owned by Gordon Steves.
