The High Desert Conservation District is hosting a meeting on water saving practices and tree windbreaks on Nov. 15.

The High Desert Conservation District is hosting a meeting and presentation on water-saving practices and windbreaks on Nov. 15.

The morning event will include two presentations. Agronomist Greg Vlaming will present “Water Saving Practice for FSA Irrigators through HDCD-DWCD Collaboration” (High Desert Conservation District and Dolores Water Conservancy District), and master arborist David Temple’s talk is titled “Tree Windbreaks – Still a Great Conservation Practice.”

The event is 9-11:30 a.m. at the Lewis-Arriola Community Center, 21203 Road S, with a continental breakfast provided. To RSVP, call 529-8368.
