St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and Grace’s Kitchen will host their 18th annual community Thanksgiving dinner at noon Nov. 28 at the church, 110 W. North St.
Volunteers will also deliver meals to the homes of people who are unable to attend.
Last year’s event served more than 300 people, and St. Barnabas expects about the same number this year. The church is still looking for volunteers and donations.
The church’s greatest need is for financial donations, since most of the food that can be cooked in advance has been purchased already. Kitchen volunteers have already started to prepare the 25 turkeys that will be served at the feast.
