Highway 491 has several areas that have “No Passing On Shoulder” signs and yet I have seen this happen many times.
I travel back and forth both north and south on this highway and have personally been stopped making a left-hand turn with plenty of notice to drivers approaching behind me, and vehicles pass me on the shoulder like I do not exist.
This driving hazard is so dangerous and has been the cause of many accidents along Highway 491.
Please pay attention to these signs and observe them; following the road rules gets everyone home safe.
