To the community of Cortez, family, friends and those that contributed in any way, at this time, I would like to thank everyone that helped in any way at the time of the motorcycle accident: emergency personnel from Mancos, Cortez, and Farmington and people who were being helpful at the scene. Those in the helicopter: Steve (who is from Cortez, I heard) and Tina from Farmington, all the doctors, especially Dr. Tibor Boco, my neurosurgeon, and Dr. Kloberdanz, my orthopedic doctor, and anyone who helped me during my stay at San Juan Regional Medical Hospital and then all those at San Juan Regional Rehabilitation Center, especially my doctor there, Dr. Claire Thompson. There are two nurses there who helped me tremendously: Kathy Luchini and Barb Williams, along with so many others.

My family that was able to be there, my boys, Skylar Allen and Ryan Carter; Darren Murray, who was in the accident with me; Eddie Tevault, my brother, Rebecca Harrison, who brought me home along with everything else she did; and my mom, Viola Denny, staying with me or visiting, many friends that came, family and friends sending prayers and love my way — the outpouring of it all means so much to me.

Those who put all their time and effort into the benefit are appreciated, and I am very thankful for all that was done. The businesses and people who made contributions, came and supported me in any way, I am grateful for it all. Thank you everyone for all that you did for me. It was three months ago, and I am sorry that it took me this long to get this out to you. People have been amazing!
