The Hisatsinom Chapter of the Colorado Archaeology Society will present Dr. Kevin Jones at 7 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Methodist Church, 515 Park St.
Jones will discuss “Ancient Native American rock art — fine art, folk art, or something else?” The talk will draw from the issues discussed in Kevin’s recently published book, “Standing on the Walls of Time: Ancient Art of Utah’s Cliffs and Canyons,” and will focus on the ways ancient rock art is viewed in modern culture.
