Editor:

The board of directors of the Bridge Emergency Shelter wants to thank the restaurants that participated in our Night Out on July 19 and a big thanks to folks who ate out for the shelter that day and night.

We are grateful to the City of Cortez, Cortez Retail Enhancement Association and to the four banks who sponsored this event: Citizens State, Dolores State, First National, and Vectra.

These Cortez restaurants helped make our event successful: Addison’s, Antonio’s, Burger Boy, Cold Stone Creamery, J. Fargo’s, Koko’s, Nero’s, Ocean Pearl, Pepperhead, Pippo’s Café, Pizza hut, San Juan Coffee, Shiloh Steakhouse, Silver Bean, Sonic Drive-In, Spruce Tree, Stonefish Sushi, Tequila’s, The Farm, and White Cup.

Thanks to supporting businesses in Dolores: Dolores Food Market, Dolores River Brewery, Ponderosa, Rio Grande Southern, and Riverfront Bar and Grill.

These restaurants in Mancos supported us: Absolute Bakery, Chavolo’s, Fahrenheit Coffee, and Olio’s.

Widespread local support from events like A Night Out help the Bridge meet our mission of keeping people safe when they have no place to go on cold winter nights. Thanks so much!
