McElmo Farm and Orchard Co. has announced that Canadian Harmony, Red Haven and white peaches are ripe on the tree and available for harvest. Prices are $1.50 a pound if you pick them and $2 per pound in $20 boxes.
Orchard hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Tuesday and Friday through Sunday. The orchard is closed Wednesday and Thursday.
Nectarines, summer apples and plums are also available for harvest.
The orchard is at 17312 County Road G, 7.5 miles from the turnoff from U.S. Highway 491 onto the Road G. The driveway is on the left, or Ute Mountain side of the road. Drive to the end of the driveway and complete a three-point turn before parking.
