National Geographic writer and photographer Jon Waterman will discuss his book “Chasing Denali” at 6 p.m. Sept. 13 at Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.
From his first attempt on Denali 40 years ago to his most recent climb, Waterman chases after the truth and what the mountain has meant to his own life, detailed through image and video highlights of a lifetime of expeditions.
The free event sponsored by Four Corners Free Press, KSJD Community Radio, BOOKS, The Farm Bistro and Friends of the Cortez Public Library. Refreshments will be served.
