The Alzheimer’s Association’s annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s is at 9 a.m. Sept. 14 at Cortez City Park. Registration will begin at 8 a.m.

The walk will be fun for the whole family and will help find a cure for a disease that affects the whole family.

For those who are unable to participate in the walk, join the community for a barbecue lunch, fun and games starting at 10 a.m.

Entertainment will be provided by Belly Dancers and Vanishing Breed. Face painting, games and prizes will also be available.

The walk will support research and the Southwest Colorado Alzheimer’s Association office that serves the nine counties in Southwest Colorado.

For more information, call Elaine Stumpo at 259-0122.
