The Sharehouse, a community food center at the old Kiva School space at 30-D N. Beech St., is accepting donations of perishable food.

Sharehouse now has a 12-by-12-foot walk-in cooler donated by the Montezuma-Cortez School District available to store perishables.

Funding from the Good Food Collective also allows the Sharehouse to accept perishables.

Anyone with surplus garden produce who would like to share with people in need can drop off their fruits and vegetables at the Sharehouse between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on any Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Items should be cleaned and of good quality.
