Editor:
This is the first letter we’ve written to the paper. We are part of the silent majority who voted to elect Sheriff Spruell and who appreciate his defense of our individual rights as law abiding gun owners and public land users. We cannot fight individually against a government that continues to take away every right we have. Sheriff Spruell was elected because he has the courage and intelligence to defend us.
Someday some people may wonder how we ended up in such a Socialist state, but we will know it’s because we didn’t support the people who fought for our rights.
We believe Sheriff Spruell is doing the best job anyone could for us and hope other supporters will speak up and join us in saying, “Thank you, Sheriff Spruell!”
