Bring some balance to the opinion page

Editor:

Yet again, I am disappointed at the Journal’s efforts to create news by editorializing. It has become very predictable. The citizens and the Sheriff of Montezuma County deserve better. It’s difficult to read the incessant attacks on anyone who does not hold a liberal view. Whether the subject is taxes or the performance of an elected official, there is always a slant toward promoting the agenda of the left. We should not have to endure the serial hypocritical nonsense spouted by moronic over-the-hill radicals pretending to be non-partisan and thoughtful intellectuals. Take Larry Berger’s recent attack on Sheriff Spruell. His rantings are so difficult to follow and the hypocrisy he regularly exudes is so transparent yet him and his ilk are featured in nearly every publication. The Journal would receive much more support from this county if they would bring some balance to its own editorials and to those chosen for publication that are written by the public.
