SER Jobs For Progress National Inc. is partnering with local nonprofits to provide paid job training opportunities in Montezuma County. SER Jobs is a job-training program funded in part by grants from the U.S. Department of Labor.

The program provides paid part-time work-based training opportunities to unemployed low-income seniors to help update their work skills.

SER is partnering with Southwest Center For Independence, Pinon Project, Salvation Army, Colorado Welcome Center, Cortez Recreation Center and others. SER is currently seeking seniors to work at these organizations and get paid to learn.

SER is also seeking other government and non-profit agencies to partner with.

Seniors in need of work training, or a nonprofit or government agencies needing workers may call (970) 385-3995 for more information.
