A free legal clinic for people who do not have a lawyer, will be offered from 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Mancos Public Library, 211 West First Street.
The free legal clinic is offered the second Tuesday of each month. Other clinics this year will be Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12, and Dec. 10.
By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, and civil protection orders. Walk-ins are welcome, and everyone will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis.
