7:56 a.m. A deputy was called to Fourth Street and Central Avenue in Dolores to speak to a reporting party about a missing person. Someone reported their friend missing, and they thought foul play might be involved, and the man might be hurt in the Boggy Draw area. The man was found on Chestnut Street in Cortez.
Friday, July 5
3:58 p.m. A deputy was called to the 11300 block of U.S. Highway 491 about a dog at large. A man told the deputy a neighbor goes out of town and leaves the dogs unattended. The deputy planned to follow up with the dogs’ owner when he returned from out of town.
22:13: p.m. A deputy was called to Speedway, 1009 Railroad Ave. in Dolores, about electric lights flickering on and off. A deputy discovered down power lines in the 900 block of Railroad Avenue. A vehicle was identified that might have something to do with the downed power lines, and an investigation continues.
Sunday, July 7
10:52 p.m. A deputy was called to Southwest Memorial Hospital about an accident that occurred at 21543 Road N. A man told the deputy the 2019 Polaris Razor he was driving east on Road N slid off the road on a tight corner and rolled about seven times. The man was injured on his right side, and the man’s wife had cuts on her right wrist and the right rear of her head. The man was issued a citation for careless motor vehicle operation.

11:55 a.m. A deputy was called to the Montezuma County Detention Center to serve three active warrants to a male inmate.
Thursday, July 11
10:23 a.m. A deputy was called to a traffic crash in the parking area of Forest Service Road 502 near Dolores. A report was filed about a minor traffic crash in a parking area at McPhee Reservoir.
12:31 p.m. A deputy was called to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to remand a man into custody. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
3:53 p.m. A deputy was called to Montezuma County Detention Center to serve three active warrants to a male inmate.
10:03 p.m. A deputy on patrol in the 28200 block of U.S. Highway 160 witnessed a Ford F-150 that appeared to be speeding. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield for a time, finally stopping in the Vista Verde Trailer Park. A strong odor of marijuana and alcohol came from the cab. The deputy arrested a man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or a drug. Also, the man had outstanding warrants for violation of a protection order. He was also issued a summons for speeding, driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both, attempting to elude a police officer. The man’s driver’s license was also seized.

9:16 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to serve a male inmate with an active warrant.
3:06 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve a warrant to a male inmate.
Saturday, July 13
3:27 p.m. A deputy was served an active warrant to a female inmate in the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Monday, July 15
11:11 a.m. A deputy was called to the 11000 block of Road 42 near Mancos about a vehicle break-in. A man reported an unlocked blue Jeep had been vandalized and a $100 Leatherman had gone missing. A report was filed.
