The Colorado Tourism Office installed a wall-size state map at its 10 welcome centers last week, including the Cortez location. The map features the state’s newly designated travel regions, Colorado’s 26 scenic and historic byways, significant cultural and heritage sites and considerable natural areas including the four national parks and eight national monuments in Colorado.
The wall-size maps help travel counselors and staff members assist travelers in finding efficient travel routes, discovering new experiences and exploring lesser-known travel opportunities across the state.
