The politicians and pundits are all saying Edward Snowden is a traitor. I don’t think he’s traitor or hero but one mixed-up young man given access to something that was wrong to start with. He handled it wrong, but show me where these talking heads have handled anything right in decades.
To me, the real traitors are the administration who went far beyond what was intended in the Patriot Act, the politicians who’ve forgotten what the Fourth Amendment means, and the mainstream media plus their know-it-all pundits who fail to see who the real victims are in all this.
The real victims are the American citizens who have had not only their phone calls intercepted but even worse their emails and Internet use. Everyone is barking at the wrong person when it’s the government who is really at fault. People, we’ve been betrayed by the very people we voted into office and not by Snowden.
We, the people, no longer have any privacy from an over-reaching government that uses security as a reason for every wrongdoing on their part. Now what are you going to do about it?
