A climber was rescued Monday evening after falling near the northwest boundary of Taylor Ranch, a subdivision about 5 miles northeast of Durango.
The woman had to be lifted 230 feet after injuring both ankles, said Ron Corkish, president of La Plata County Search and Rescue.
It was unknown if the woman was rescued after falling from the cliff, he said. He also couldn’t say how far she fell, he said.
No further information was immediately available Monday night.
