The Cortez Rotary Club and the Cortez Area Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to create a fun-filled Fourth of July for all to enjoy. The day culminates in a fireworks spectacular beginning at 9 p.m.
Organizers are seeking vendors to offer a large variety of food, games, exhibits or novelties. Booth spaces are $50, with fees going to the Rotary Club for community projects. Duplications will be avoided, and applications will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications and payment, as well as proof of liability insurance for some vendors, will be accepted no later than July 2. Food vendors must have a county retail food license.
