I remember a time when we had good, conservative, do-nothing commissioners.
Now we have a crop who run as conservatives but look for opportunities to expand government control and extend their terms. More like progressives!
Public money for a convention center?! More public money for some sort of county-wide broadband network!?
Why do they want to spend public money on what should be private enterprises?
County administration should focus on essential services, not pet projects of public officials!
