The Mancos Arts Council is seeking participants for this year's community photography show - the 11th year!
"Sharing the 81328 Perspective" is a show created by 20 random photographers working on the annual theme with a disposable camera, then turning in their cameras without developing the photos. This year's theme is "Horsin' Around." The best of each camera's shots are selected to be in the year-long exhibit at the Visitors' Center.
Anyone who would like to join the fun should contact Ginny Getts, 533-1861, or Patricia Burk, 533-7841; they will provide a camera and instructions.
The opening reception on July 25 for this new show will be the kickoff for this year's Mancos Days celebration. Anyone from 10 to 100 is eligible.
