I have followed Sen. Cory Gardner’s voting record carefully since President Donald Trump was elected. Sen. Gardner has never broken from the Republican Party. This includes the pushing in of an unqualified Supreme Court Justice and voting on a tax bill that gave huge tax cuts for the top 1% and left the middle class with a false promise.
Gardner voted in David Bernhardt as the secretary of the interior and Andrew Wheeler as administrator of the EPA. He was a yes vote for William Barr to become attorney general.
Barr refused to release the full Mueller report to Congress as our Constitution directs. We deserve to read an un-redacted report. If there is truly classified material in the report, Congress has sufficient clearances to review the report. I worked with a top secret clearance for many years and am aware of the falsehood of Barr’s reasoning.
After reading over one third of the redacted report, I know there is clear obstruction of justice and other impeachable offenses. Trump’s team (Barr included) ignores subpoenas. Nothing to hide? Why not show up and clear the air? Nothing to hide in Trump’s taxes? Why not release them?
Why are so many Trump cronies in prison? Why is Trump’s legal team fighting Congress’s requests to Deutsche Bank to look as what may have been bad loans? The list of indiscretions is long. Sen. Gardner, you represent our wonderful state of Colorado and our nation.
