Journey into space with Mad Science of Colorado and NASA and explore a Universe of Stories at 2 p.m. June 12 at Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.
Mad Science provides education wrapped in entertainment in this fun and interactive program and transforms laboratory science into fun learning experiences for kids while making science more accessible. NASA and Mad Science have a long-standing collaboration and, together, bring science to life in this science-based program.

The Summer Reading Program, “A Universe of Stories,” is starting at the library. Drop by to pick up a reading log and register. Register before July 5 to be eligible to receive a T-shirt designed by student Jadyn Williams.
