Medicine Horse Center plans summer enrichment camps

The Medicine Horse Center is offering summer enrichment programs for kids who love horses.

Participants will learn about horses and how to take care of them, learn how to ride bareback, do horse art projects, make horse treats and have fun with horses.

The camps are open to children ages 7 through 12.

Beginning-skills camps will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 3 through 7 and July 8 through 12. Advanced-skills camps will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 22-26 and Aug. 6-10.

The cost is $125, and space for each week is limited to six participants.
