Kudos to David Bowyer’s “Cortez Colorado: Our Beautiful Backyard,” a brand new DV about the wealth of culture, nature, history and recreation available right here in our hometown. I really enjoyed David’s latest production. I didn’t realize just how lucky we are to live in this big and beautiful backyard called Cortez.
The cinematography is outstanding, and we are extremely fortunate, in my opinion, to have such an outstanding veteran filmmaker available to us. Over the years, I’ve collected several of David’s films about the Four Corners region. He does the community a great service by pointing out the good, and the just plain spectacular, in Cortez and its surroundings.
