Dozens of locals turned out on a sunny Saturday afternoon for the fifth annual Mancos Bloom fundraiser at the Mount Lookout Grange.

The event celebrates spring along with raising funds to support the grange. This year, it brought in more than $1,200, with funds primarily allocated to building maintenance, according to the event’s organizers.

The Bloom was held at the grange and featured a traditional May Pole dance, along with food, drink and live music by the Lawn Chair Kings, a Durango-based band.
