“Liars, Criminals, and Lovers: Entering the World of Fiction” is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 15, at Mancos Makers Space. The workshop will be taught by writer Lisa C. Taylor.
Taylor discovers characters everywhere — getting off a bus, holding hands in a convalescent home. This workshop will challenge you to use your powers of observation and imagination to write fiction. Participants will leave with tools for addressing creative blocks as well as new techniques for crafting stories. This is a hands-on workshop so participants should bring their imagination and laptop or a notebook and pen.
Cost for the class is $75.
