Mesa Verde Back Country Horsemen will host a presentation on “Brand Inspections – Mandatory Under Colorado Law” at 7 p.m. on May 14, at the First National Bank meeting room, 2258 E. Main St.
The public is invited to a presentation by Joel Stevenson, Colorado brand inspector. He will discuss “What are Brand Inspections and Why Do We Need Them?” Appetizers will be served at 6:30 p.m. Bring a drink.
Stevenson is part of a division that employs approximately 58 brand inspectors located throughout the state. Discussion will include state law regarding when brand inspections are needed, permanent trip passes and more.
