On behalf of Leadership Montezuma, we want to sincerely thank all those businesses, organizations and individuals who contributed to the success of the criminal justice session on April 18, 2013.

Thank you to the Cortez Police Department for the use of their training room, and to the Montezuma-Cortez Communications Center for a tour of the center.

Thank you to District Judge Todd Plewe, District Attorney Will Furse, and Justin Bogan for explaining their respective roles in the criminal justice process.

Thank you, Cmdr. Pierce and Lt. Talley, for a tour of the Montezuma County Jail.

Thank you Sheriff Dennis Spruell, Chief Roy Lane, Master Trooper Doug Weismer, and Ranger Logan Briscoe for a lively and informative discussion on law enforcement.

Finally, thank you to all the wonderful staff at The NEST Child Advocacy Center, not only for the tour and presentation of what they do, but for doing what they do.

We appreciate the generosity of First United Methodist Church for the meeting space.

Many in the community contribute on an ongoing basis to Leadership Montezuma, and we know we speak for all the LM class members and graduates when we say thank you for allowing this program to continue. It is a privilege to be part of Leadership Montezuma.
