My husband, our dad, our papa and our best friend passed away on Feb. 7 after a long, hard-fought battle with Alzheimer’s.
Please accept this most heartfelt thank you for all the flowers, plants, food and emotional support during this very difficult time. We are truly blessed to have such support and comfort.
A special thank you to Hospice for being with Jack and his family during his final days. Anthony Maes and Father Pat Valdez for his final sendoff home. To Ertel Funeral Home for their help and professionalism in putting together the wonderful services and taking pride and respect in taking care of Jack. The American Legion for a wonderful military service and tribute to a true American hero. Vista Mesa Assisted Living for the help and care they gave to Jack. They made him feel safe and comfortable. The Alzheimer’s Association and Director Elaine Stumpo for the counseling and support during Jack’s Alzheimer’s fight. And to everyone we may have left out, thank you. You helped us to prepare or try to prepare for what we are facing going on without Jack, dad and papa.
