Tuesday, March 19

12:36 p.m.: A man was arrested in Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for failure to appear.

1:02 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence at a residence in the 27100 block of Colorado Highway 184.

1:25 p.m.: A deputy posted a writ of restitution at a residence in the 800 block of Central Ave. in Dolores. An eviction will be scheduled.

9:40 a.m.: A man was arrested in Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, March 20

2:05 a.m.: A woman was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for failure to comply.

10:36 a.m.: A man was arrested in Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for failure to appear.

10:52 a.m.: A woman was arrested in Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for failure to appear.

10:42 a.m.: A man was served three warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for failure to appear.

2:30 p.m.: A woman was cited with two counts of cruelty to animals after one horse was euthanized and the other was seized at a property in the 6600 block of Road 24.2. An investigator from the Colorado Humane Society and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals removed the dead horse’s femur for examination and removed the surviving horse by trailer. The woman at the property was billed for $13.50 for a bale of hay and $16.99 for a tarp.

Thursday, March 21

11:56 a.m.: A man reported that he had been bitten by two dogs while he rode a bicycle in the 12400 block of County Road 41. The man said he confronted the dogs’ owner, who replied, “I have a .22, do you want me to shoot him?” A check with the Mancos Valley Vet Clinic revealed that only one of the dogs was current on its vaccinations, and the deputy planned to follow up with citations.

1:36 p.m.: A man was remanded from Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., and transported to the county jail.

2:32 p.m.: A man was warned that he could face harassment charges if he continued to leave notes at a residence in the 18300 block of Colorado Highway 145 demanding repayment of a loan. He was advised that since his loan was not a criminal matter, he could make his case in civil court.

Friday, March 22

10:51 a.m.: A man was remanded from Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., and transported to the county jail.

11:30 p.m.: A driver was pulled over in the 7000 block of County Road 25 and warned about failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. His passenger was arrest on a warrant for failure to appear.

Saturday, March 23

7:11 p.m.: A man was pulled over on County Road E in the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 160 and arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He was cited for driving with expired license plates and driving without current insurance. His passengers were picked up by family members, and the vehicle was towed.

Monday, March 25

1:28 a.m. A woman was cited in Joe Rowell Park, 94 Central Ave. in Dolores, for driving with a revoked Colorado driver’s license and was warned about being in the park after hours.

7:48 a.m.: A couple at a residence in the 6100 block of U.S. Highway 160 reported that a Glock handgun was missing from their vehicle. A deputy reported the gun as stolen.

Tuesday, March 26

6:26 a.m.: A woman was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for failure to appear.

3:03 p.m.: A woman was served four warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for failure to appear.

Wednesday, March 27

8:17 a.m.: A deputy obtained a warrant for a man who allegedly failed to register as a sex offender after being released from the Montezuma County Detention Center on Dec. 26.
