In honor of National Ag Day on March 14, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has launched a Youth and Agriculture website.

The website aims to engage and inspire young people to pursue careers in agricultural fields, and provides resources and classroom activities for young people, educators and community leaders.

“The future of agriculture in America depends on the investment and involvement of America’s young people,” said Stephen Censky, the deputy secretary of agriculture. “Connecting with America’s youth on National Ag Day is a tremendous opportunity to show that careers in farming, the agricultural sciences, and veterinary medicine are rewarding, essential and profitable.”
