Ute Mtn. Rec. high school basketball tourney



The Ute Mountain Recreation Center in Towaoc is hosting its high school boys and girls basketball tournament the weekend of April 20-21. It's double-elimination with awards for first through third-place. Entry fee is $125. It's 12 teams in each division. This tourney fills up fast and teams must have a coach on the bench at all times. Pueblo to Pueblo Run



The annual Pueblo to Pueblo, 10K, 11-mile and 2-mile fun run/walk event will be held Saturday, April 27. People can register by going to www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=2089799 or stopping by the Cortez Cultural Center at 25 N. Market St., Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or be calling the center at 565-1151 for more information.



Cortez Rec. men's and women's softball

The City of Cortez Parks and Recreation department is now registering for its men's and women's softball league. It's eight league games plus a double-elimination tournament. Golf with Grace tourney



The third annual Golf with Grace golf tournament will be held north of Durango at The Glacier Club on Friday, May 24. This golf tournament is in support of Grace Preparatory Academy in Durango with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund, along with the operating needs for Grace Prep. Tri-City Soccer registrations



Tri-City Soccer is currently accepting registrations for spring soccer. Spring soccer will run from April 8, through May 4, for most teams. There will be teams for children 3 through 13 (based on their age as of July 31, 2012). Placement is based on first come, first served space availability. If a child played soccer in the fall of 2012, then parents do not need to re-register their child. Registrations can be picked up at the Cortez Recreation Center.
