The Bridge Emergency Shelter says "Thank You!"
Soups of the World was a big success thanks to many folks. Our major gratitude goes to the congregation of St. Barnabas and to the Grace's Kitchen crew led by Jerry Hart. This was our sixth annual event and we broke previous years' records with attendance and donations. We had about 150 guests at the event who helped raise almost $4,500 for operating expenses for the Bridge. People volunteered to make soups, wait tables, set up and clean up, and make desserts. Larry Don Suckla served as auctioneer; 50 desserts were sold to the highest bidders. We are grateful for all who came out to support the Bridge.
