Durango went onto win the varsity match, 4-3. But M-CHS won the most matches on the day, with the junior varsity sweeping the Demons 2-0.

Emily Walck and Mary Wright continued their No. 1 doubles winning streak with an impressive victory over Meredith Nass and Kit Hackett. Walck and Wright won the first set 6-2 and then held off the pair of Demons by winning the tie-breaking second set, 8-6. The Lady Panthers senior duo remains undefeated this season.

Jessica Quinonez and Jaci Veach won at No. 2 doubles against Rachel Redders and Anna Wright.

But it was not easy.

The Lady Panthers won the first set 7-5 and the Demons tied the second set, 7-7. Veach and Quinonez then played very well in the tiebreaker and won 7-2.

Kearra Boggs and Tori Calliham lost a tough match to Durango's Hannah Lieberman and Eva Eckstein at No. 3 doubles. The Lady Panthers team lost the first set 5-7, won the second set 6-3 and then lost the tiebreaker, 7-9.

The M-CHS No. 4 doubles team of Tara Abrams and Samantha Woyedwodzic beat Jenni Snowberger and Rachel Cooper 7-5 in the first set. Abrams and Woyedwodzic won the tiebreaker in the second set, 7-1.

At JV No. 1 doubles, Racqukel Lucero and Sky Cole posted at come-from-behind victory over Durango. They lost 4-6 in the first set and then they won the second set 6-2 and the tiebreaker, 7-4.
