The Cortez Adult Education Center will be offering a Beginning Conversation Spanish class on Thursdays, March 7–28.

The class meets 5:30–6:30 p.m. and will “jump-start your Spanish language skills,” Kelly Quach said in a press release. “It will cover vocabulary that is relevant for travel and will give you a good foundation to get you speaking from the first class.”

The cost of the class is $45, and space is limited. Preregistration and payment are required.

Visit www.cortezadulted.org for a class description or to register.

The mission of the Cortez Adult Education Center, a satellite of the Durango Adult Education Center, is to fill educational gaps by equipping adults, children and families with the skills and knowledge necessary for livable wage careers, post-secondary education, and social and economic mobility.
