The Bridge Emergency Shelter, through a contract with the county, opens at 6 p.m. and stays open until 7 a.m. I don't know how many people are out and about at 7 in the morning, but I usually am and it gets cold!

What I am suggesting is, after they build the new high school, let's turn the old high school into a shelter and day labor center that's open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year! I read that they are proposing building a new district courthouse! Maybe they could turn that into a shelter for families. Just a thought.
