"Thank you" is so often forgotten in our fast-paced lives. There are two people that I feel deserve to be recognized for their commentaries in the Cortez Journal.
I would like to thank Robert Valencia for his continuing efforts to inform the readers of the Journal concerning veterans issues. His information about the history of our flag and country have been very informative. He deserves a big thank you.
Randy Davis also deserves a big thank you. I have read his columns as he has explained his illness and then progressed to writing about his life and experiences through his creative writing class. I'm very sad to see that he will no longer be writing his articles for the Journal, but I am excited about his future and feel he will do well. He has the ability to express himself and I know he has been an inspiration to all of us.
