This weekend, local musicians will take the stage at the Mancos Brewing Co., 484 E. Frontage Road.
Friday night, Durango-based acoustic guitarist Matt Rupnow is performing the brewery from 6-9 p.m. Rupnow is a singer and songwriter who performs in Colorado with a style that brings together country, soul, blues, funk and rock ’n’ roll.
On Saturday from 6-9 p.m., guitarist, vocalist and all-around artist extraordinaire Marilyn Kroeker will take the spotlight. Kroeker has previously served as the Mesa Verde artist-in-residence for her music and watercolor work, and is also a potter. Although she is known for singing with her folk-rock group Sweetwater Station, this weekend she will be performing as a solo artist, joined by local musicians Herb Folsom and Jim Dodson.
