In response to Dave Marsell's letter of Feb. 20, I say this: He should attempt to be logically consistent. Mr. Marsell complains about the legalization of marijuana and complains about "Front Range liberals" neutering our state. Marsell then alludes to the tyrannical powers of Washington.

Well, the majority of Colorado voters decided in favor of more freedom and liberty, to legalize marijuana in opposition to the federal government's drug laws. And Front Range Democrats (to be more precise) like U.S. Rep. Diana Degette and Gov. John Hickenlooper are standing up to the federal government on this issue, basically for more freedom for adults to make their own choices.

So what is it going to be, Mr. Marsell? Are you for freedom and liberty, or the tyranny of the federal government?
