Commodity distribution this Saturday

The next commodity distribution will be on Saturday, March 2, 2013.

You must bring your own box large enough for your commodities. They cannot supply enough boxes for everyone.

NEW TIME FOR WINTER FOR CORTEZ.

Distribution will be at the following locations:

Cortez: Montezuma County fairgrounds, 30100 Highway 160 - 7 to 8 a.m.

Dolores: Fire hall, 45 Railroad Ave. - 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Mancos: Mancos United Methodist Church, 470 Grand Ave. - 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

If you are unable to come to the distribution, you can give your card and a note authorizing someone else to pick up your commodities for you. They must have your card and note or they will not be able to get your commodities.

If you haven't gotten your 2013 commodity card (cards are good for the calendar year), you can obtain them at the following places and times. Only one card per household. You must bring a copy of your proof of income for 2013 to be left at the office. You must also bring proof of physical address, and Social Security number for only the head of the household. A copy of drivers license or state-issued ID card.

Cards may be obtained at the following places and times:

Cortez: Senior services office in the annex, 107 N. Chestnut - Wednesdays only from 9 to 11 a.m.

Dolores: Dolores Community Center, 400 Riverside - Wednesdays only from 11 a.m. to noon.

Mancos: Masonic Lodge Senior Center, 141 E. Montezuma - Wednesdays only from 9 to 11 a.m.

Gross monthly income guidelines:

1 in the family $1,722

2 in the family $2,333

3 in the family $2,943

4 in the family $3,554

5 in the family $4,164

6 in the family $4,775

7 in the family $5,386

8 in the family $5,998

(for additional family members add $611 per person.)
