So all of your readers are fully informed of the facts: No "assault" style rifle was used in the Connecticut school shooting (which, of course, does not lesson the tragedy). Four handguns were found inside the school. The AR-15 style rifle, which our mainstream media initially reported was used in the tragedy, was found inside his car, and to be redundant, was not used in the shooting. We also now know it was stolen from his mother.

I've noticed this correction has rarely, and only quietly, been mentioned by the media and gun control advocates when compared to the amount of incorrect reporting, and emotional screaming, about an "assault" rifle being used. It makes one wonder why.
