Snowboard winner



Standard Sales Co. and Durango Mountain Resort are partnering for the 2012-2013 ski season. To celebrate Bud Light being the new official beer of DMR, Standard Sales is running a promotion with participating liquor stores in Durango and Cortez. to give away one snowboard each month between all of the entries. December's winner, Jackie Nelson, came from G Whil Liquors at 24001 Road G.2 in Cortez. Standard Sales would like to thank G Whil Liquor for continuing to support their program.





Builders Assoc. to hold round-table discussion



Four Corners Builders Association will hold a public round-table discussion on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. at First National Bank's conference room at 2258 E. Main St. The meeting will be open to questions from those that come participate, on topics such as home loans, what type of gravel is needed to create a solid driveway, or repairs to property currently owned or that are being looked at for purchase. Seas'nings to hold 3-course Valentines Tea



February is a favorite month for sweethearts, and there is no nicer way to celebrate than with a special Valentine Tea on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 2:30 p.m. Plan to bring a sweetheart - yes, gentlemen are welcome - or another friend or family member to enjoy a three-course tea menu at $20 per person. The hearts and flowers will be out for the occasion at Seas'nings, at 26 S. Madison St. Space is limited, and reservations are required; call 565-2728 for more information or to reserve a spot.





Region 9 has new website



The Region 9 Economic Development District has a newly-designed website. The website includes regional data, information on Enterprise Zone tax credits, Region 9's business loan fund and technical assistance services. Locally, Region 9 EDD serves Montezuma and Dolores Counties and the Ute Mountain Ute Indian Tribe. They also serve Archuleta, La Plata and San Juan Counties and the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
